| Boating, swimming and collecting clams are usually a highlight of the trip. The Russian River has many shallow areas for wading and is usually quite warm. It is common to see turtles, blue herons, ducks and other wildlife on the river's many islands. |

| For the past 10 years we have made an annual camping trip to Cassini Family Ranch on the Russian River. This is a very popular recreation site so be sure to reserve early for the best location. Cassini and the surrounding area offer a wide variety of activities so the trip is always fresh and exciting. |
